The main task of the Norwegian Biodiversity Information Centre (NBIC) is to make information and data on biodiversity available to the public. NBIC focuses on red listed species and alien species in particular.

The services from NBIC is currently only available in Norwegian. English version of the databases will be ready in 2010.

For the time being the following resources are available:

Red List Database (in Norwegian only)

The Red List Database contains documentation on the evaluations done in the 2006 Norwegian Red List. Search the Red List Database
